Farmington – Amelia Flora Anderson, age 78, was born on May 19, 1947, and passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Amelia was a resident at Woodlands Senior Living in Farmington from August 2022, until she was transferred to Sandy River nursing home in June of 2025. Amelia was born to Alphonse and Carrie Brault in Farmington Maine. She was lucky enough to find and marry the love of her life, Douglas Anderson, on July 19th, 1963. Amelia worked a little in her life but most of her work was spent at home as a wife and mother of four children. Amelia loved her soap operas, talking on the phone, and caring for her flowers. One of her favorite things she used to do was go camping. She loved her cats and dogs so much. Amelia is predeceased by her parents; some of her siblings; and her husband. She is survived by her children, Nancy and her husband Scott Theriault, Rose and her husband Jerry Javier, Mary Anderson and her significant other Roger and John Anderson and his wife. She is also survived by her honorary daughter, Cheryl Thompson; seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A service and gathering will be planned for the summer of 2026.
