Auburn and Madrid Township – Anita K. (Rollins) Beu, age 89, went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2026. Anita was born on November 16, 1936, in Strong Maine, the youngest child of Birchell and Grace (Rollins) Hinds. After moving to California, where she raised her two sons and two daughters, she was still able to attend Cerritos College and became a warehouse supervisor for Cutler Hammer Eaton Corporation.

In 1987, Anita married Carl Beu in Bellflower, California. They soon moved back to Maine and Settled in Madrid Township. After moving back to Maine, the two began working as therapeutic foster parents for a school for behaviorally and developmentally troubled teenagers. Over their tenure with the school, they were foster parents for 13 teenagers. Anita still made time to do the things she loved - gardening and adopting rescue dogs.

Anita is survived by her daughters, Misty Finethy of Mechanicsburg, PA and Starri Eustis of Baton Rouge, LA; her son, Jeff Eustis of Raleigh, NC; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl; her parents, Birchell and Grace; and her sister, Joanne Webber.

Anita’s interment will be held at Dunham Cemetery in Madrid Township, October 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, Anita’s request is for prayers for the salvation of Isreal, the peace of Jerusalem, our veterans and all those that proclaim the Gospel of Christ.
