Farmington – Bruce Adrian Beal, 73, of Farmington, ME, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025, with his wife Patricia by his side. Bruce was born on August 30, 1951, to Harold and Shirley Beal also of Farmington. Earlier in his life, his parents moved to Oceanside, CA, where Bruce attended schools in that area. He drove truck and worked on carnival circuits, but he also worked with family in a group called "Los Hermanos Cinco". He and his brothers entertained people in the mining town of Calico Silver and the Saddle Club in Rancho Berrada, CA for many years as gunfighters.
After returning home to Maine, he retired from the Sappi Mill in Skowhegan where he worked in the plants' train yard, moving and conducting engines for 20 years before retiring in 2018.
Bruce had many hobbies, but his favorite pastime was riding his Harley with his friend of 35 years, Dusty and their mutual friend, Wayne. Whether he was riding with a mile long train of Harley's on a Toy Run, mowing his lawn, fishing, going to movie or the drive-in, dining out or even helping his wife in their garden, he always kept busy and was quite the handyman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Shirley Beal; his sister, Patricia G.; his brothers, Harold (Sonny), David Beal and Michael Beal.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Beal of Farmington; brothers, Eric Beal and wife Debbie Beal of Belfast and Kim Beal of Olympia, Washington; niece, Ginger Fails and husband Walter Fails of New Sharon; stepson's, Anthony Baldinelli and partner Annie Willis of Farmington and Christopher Baldinelli and wife Gemma of Buxton. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life to honor Bruce on Friday June 20, 2025, at the home of Bruce's longtime friend, Dusty (Annette) Cochran of Carthage, ME. Starting at 2;00 pm.
