Wilton - Bruce Russell Rollins, 73, of Wilton, a loving husband, father, grampa and great grampa, passed peacefully July 1, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born on February 13, 1953, in Bath, ME to Carlton Sr. and Marion Rollins, he was the third of six children.

Bruce grew up in Harpswell, ME and attended Brunswick High School, class of ‘71. He then went on to attend Lipscomb University and Harding Graduate School where he received his Master’s Degree. He was a minister in Worcester, MA, Brattleboro, VT, Newport, VT and Farmington Falls, ME.

Bruce loved to read, watch old westerns, and spend time with family. He tried to walk with the Lord every day and spread the word to all, usually by example.

Bruce also worked for MSAD9 and drove the Chesterville bus route for 29 years, where he made many friendships and always tried to put a smile on the kid's faces.

Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Brinda Rollins, daughter Amber Smith and her husband Frederick Smith of Wilton, son Derek Rollins and his wife Jennifer Rollins of Brunswick. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lexi Walker and her husband Damian Walker of Jay, Logan Walker of Farmington, Alexis Wood of Wilton, Abigail Walker of Wilton, Cooper Rollins of Brunswick, and Brynlee Smith of Wilton. Also, great granddaughter Emersyn Walker of Jay. Brothers Carlton Rollins, Jr., Lee (Diane) Rollins, and Brian (Shellaine) Rollins.

Bruce is predeceased by both parents and sisters Patricia Rollins and Marilyn Hamel.

A memorial service will be held August 8th, 2026, at Farmington Baptist Church, 194 Whittier Rd, Farmington ME, at 1:00pm. All are welcome to attend.
