KINGFIELD - Bruce William Taylor, 74, of Kingfield, Maine, passed away on September 4, 2025. Born August 25, 1951, in Farmington, he was the son of Burton and Glennese Taylor. He grew up in Kingfield and graduated from Mt. Abram High School class of 1972.
He was employed by Kingfield Wood Products for many years. He also ran a ceramic studio at his home. He attended the Methodist Church where he was also the organist.
Bruce had a lifelong passion for the arts. He was especially fond of painting, ceramics and music - both playing and singing. His creative spirit shone brightly in everything he touched, and he often shared his love of the arts with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Bette Taylor.
He is survived by his brother Brian (Carol) Taylor; sister Brenda Grover; nieces Sara (Billy) Mcdougall & family and Ashley (Andy) Desmarais & family; nephew Taylor (Holli) Dumont & family, and brother-in-law Robert Dumont.
Graveside services will be at Sunnyside Cemetery Kingfield, September 20, 2025, at 1pm.
