Carl R. Garland, 82, of Farmington ME, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Sandy River Center. He was born on Aug. 25, 1941, in Bangor, the son of Nelson and Debra (Holland) Garland.

He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. We will surely miss his whistle and his smile.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly Garland of Farmington; his daughter Tammy Garland of South Dakota and his son Shawn Garland of Oxford; his grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary, Jennalee and Kyle; his great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Summer, Corbin, Emberlee and Breanna. He was preceded in death by his daughter Teresa Smith, Granddaughter Casey Ramsey, brother Arthur Garland and Sister Florence Sikes.
