Lewiston- Charles Weldon Owens II, July 15, 1960 – January 7, 2024
Chuck finally found out all the ultimate truths of the universe. He was never shy about his eagerness to reach the other side. Many remember him as a genuine man who always had a smart remark paired with piercing blue eyes that some found intimidating, while others swooned over.
He grew up in Wilton, Maine and spent most of his life tending the barns at his home - that he built himself - around a trailer in Turner. He was highly skilled in carpentry and enjoyed building and fixing things. Chuck truly was a jack of all trades. He was always willing to share his skills to help others, be it a tire rotation or fixing their computer. He was a man who loved the solitude and comforts of home and knew the importance of taking a daily afternoon nap. When he did adventure, he loved Arizona, and Hawaii. His last few years were somewhat of a mystery to most of his family as he dealt with life as he always wanted to, living alone with a Tom cat. His family will fondly remember him as a loving father who gave so much for his children.
He is survived by his four children, Gina Ferris, and her spouse Jovany, Teresa Owens, Mike Owens, Racheal (Becky) Owens and her spouse Dean; Chuck also had one grandson, Ezra Turcotte; Chuck also leaves his 3 sisters, Laura Ward, Rachel Jackson, and Anne Everett.
He was predeceased by his mother, Betty Adams and her husband Bob.
He was a man loved by many. He might have never believed that, but he finally gets to see how much he meant to those of us who loved him.
