Douglas Anderson Douglas Anderson was born on May 26th, 1942. He passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2023 at Franklin Memorial Hospital. He was a resident of Woodlands Senior Living in Farmington since September 2022. He was born to Horace Anderson, and Ethlyn Bachelder in Rangeley Maine. He married the love of his life Amelia Brault on July 19th, 1963. They went on, and had 4 children together. Douglas spent his life working at Cat Lumber, Cousinous Wood Mill, and the Phillips Fire Dept. Douglas, and Amelia spent their entire lives in the Franklin County. Douglas loved to spend his time fishing, hunting, and four wheeling. He loved going to the family land in Dallas Plantation to camp; where he would spend weeks on end. He was a big outdoors guy, and would find anything to do; so he could just be outside. Douglas is preceded by his parents Horace, and Ethlyn, his siblings Carl Anderson, Louise Sweetser, Lucille Sweetser, and Elthea Phillips. Douglas is survived by his wife Amelia. His children John and his wife Kelly of Oelwein Iowa, Rose Javier and her husband Jerry of Spring Valley California, Maryann Anderson and her significant other Roger of Dexter Maine, Nancy Theriault and her husband Scott of Strong Maine. He was gifted 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and dozens of nieces, and nephews. A service will be planned later for Spring/Summer time.
