Livermore Falls - Evelyn Nerdina Wilson Corson passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at the Hospice House in Auburn, Maine.
She was born on May 24, 1929, and was the daughter of Elwood Wilson and Ramona (Marden) Wilson in Phillips, Maine. She attended school in Phillips, Maine and during her lifetime lived in Phillips, Avon, Dallas Plantation, Strong, Jay and Livermore Falls, Maine. Spent many summers at Loon Lake and Sandy Pond.
She worked at the Farmington Shoe Shop, IGA restaurant, and as library assistant at the Rangeley Library. She and Gerald owned the Corner Store in Phillips in the mid 1960's.
She enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting and painting. She loved to dance, and snowmobile in the winter, and stay in their camper in the summers.
She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Delvine Hinkley; her husband of 72 years, Gerald; and son, Garry.
She is survived by her son, Roger and wife Nancy; sisters, Nora Therrien and Rosanna Kingsley (David); grandchildren, Marlayne Brace (Rick), Keith Corson (Tammy), Ra Anne Wahl (companion Brian) and Derek Harris; eight great grandchildren; and six great, great grandchildren; and special friend, Brenda Ross Corson Harris Evans; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Nazarene Church in Strong on June 28, 2026, at 3pm with refreshments to follow in the church dining hall. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Hospice House in Auburn, Maine, 236 Stetson Road, Auburn Maine, 04210. (207)333-6300
