Fred Martin Allumbaugh
May 25, 1950 – March 7, 2026
Fred Martin Allumbaugh, 75, of Farmington, Maine, passed away on March 7, 2026, with his sons Aaron and Ross by his side. Born on May 25, 1950, to Elaine Stewart and Fred Ross Allumbaugh, Fred lived a life rich in love, and quiet devotion to the people who mattered most to him.
Fred was a man who treasured his relationships above all else. He remained close to his wife of 20 years, Karen Allumbaugh, who always held a special place in his heart. He was deeply devoted to his friends — the kind of man who valued those bonds for a lifetime — and in his final years spoke warmly of reuniting with the dear friends who had gone before him.
An avid reader and enthusiastic cribbage player, Fred found contentment in simple pleasures and good company. In his later years, one of the highlights of his year was the annual trip to Tim Pond fishing camp with his sons — a tradition that spoke to everything he held dear: the Maine outdoors (provided it was summer), unhurried time, and the company of family.
Fred is survived by his four children, Aaron Allumbaugh, Joel Allumbaugh, Ross Allumbaugh, and Melanie Tyler, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.
Fred will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
