Kingfield - Greta Marelene Essency, 75, died June 20, 2024, in Farmington. She was born November 3, 1948, in Kingfield Maine, the daughter of Roy and Kathleen (Lisherness) Wahl. Greta is survived by her daughter, Nicale and her husband David Pomerleau; 11 grandchildren, Heidi and her husband Christopher, Jordan and his wife Tracy, Trey, Luke and his wife Emma, Aaron, Spencer and his wife Chelsie, Rachel, Emilie, Monica, Cameron and Grant; 7 great – grandchildren, Teegan, Avery, Hayden, Jameson, Alice, Ellie and Ava; sisters, Regina Gilmore, Blanche Sillanpaa, Ethel Gardner; brother, Randy Wahl; and a very close friend, Kathy Israelson whom she considered a daughter; along with several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Essency Sr; daughter, Ericka Wilbur; her parents; a brother, Michael; and a sister, Lynette. A private interment will be scheduled at a later date.
