New Vineyard —Jon "Craig" Johnston, 71 Passed away on September 24, 2023. Jon, also known to some as "Z", was born on November 7, 1951, in Pennsauken, Camden County, New Jersey where he was raised. He graduated from Pennsauken High School in the class of 1970. Jon was drafted at the age of 17 and was number 17 on the draft board. "Craig" served for four years in the Army National Guard as a squad leader and expert rifleman. Jon "Craig" is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karen Gerhardt-Johnston; housecats, Lares, Cheswick and Clara; three cousins, Linda Treutel of Boynton Beach, Florida, Sharon Treutel and Bennet Coile of Griffin, Georgia.
