Jay - Kathleen (Kathy) Ann Cattoggio, 69, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 8, 2026, at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn with her daughter by her side.

Kathleen was born in Cambridge, MA on March 13, 1957, the daughter of William and Evelyn (Banks) Connolly. She attended local schools and later moved to Maine where she cherished every day.

As an adult Kathleen attended University of Maine at Farmington, where she graduated with a BA in 2004. She founded Maine Growth Opportunities (MGO) where she worked as a Direct Support Professional, assisting adults with developmental disabilities to receive community-based support. MGO was her pride and joy, and she loved every moment that she worked there. She was truly made for it; her warm and sunny disposition often brightened the entire room.

Kathleen was always the first to step up to help anyone in need. She loved classic cars, cooking for her family, flower gardens, and watching the sunset. Her comforting presence, positive attitude, and playful banter will be missed immensely.

She was predeceased by her parents; her former husband, Lenny; her brother, Jim and his spouse Mario. She is survived by her daughter, Gina and son-in-law Jason; her brother, Bill; sisters, Peggy and Patty; and close friend, Kandi.
