Avon - Kathleen [Kathy] M Cochran passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 76 in her home in Avon, Me. She was born on December 11,1948 to George and D.Angela Maxham in Hanover N.H. Kathy graduated in 1967 from Farmington High School and the Pierce Secretarial School in Boston, Mass in 1969. Kathy was an active member of the Skillful Workers 4-H Club in her youth. She was also a former member of Farmington Grange #12, the Farmington Emblem Club and St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She looked forward to the agriculture fairs in the fall where she worked for Emily's Restaurant for many years as a cook and biscuit maker. She is survived by her two sons, Mark (Megan) Cochran of Temple and Scott Cochran of Chesterville. She Leaves behind two grandchildren, Cooper and Rowen. Two bonus grandchildren, Landon and Oceana; and two bonus great grandchildren, Blaine and Nora. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel (Janice) Maxham; sister, Brenda LeBlanc; brother, Brian (Michelle) Maxham; and sister, Melinda (Ernest) Lane. Also, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, George and Angela Maxham; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Paul Haley Sr.; brother, George (Billy) and Sheila Maxham, brother-in-law Donald LeBlanc, nephew Paul Haley Jr, great niece Morgan Haley and ex-husband Earl (Sonny) Cochran. Special thanks to her landlord Jerry Phillips for checking in on her each day and to Andwell Hospice for their care during this time.
