It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leo A. Murphy III, who left us on May 17, 2023. Born on August 15, 1959, in Lawrence, MA. Leo was a gifted tattoo artist, operating his business at Lion's Den Tattoo until his retirement. He enjoyed collecting antiques, watching Western movies and spending time at Salem Willows. Leo had a deep love for working the land on his cherished property in Maine, where he also nurtured a talent for growing tomatoes every year. Leo also had a special bond with his loving cat, Charlie.

Leo is survived by his children, Leo IV, of Salem Mass, Denise and her husband Stephen Roeger of Salem NH, his cherished grandchildren, Sean and Caitlin, and his siblings, Carol and David Murphy, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Jr. and Shirley Murphy, and his sister, Donna Lefebvre.
