Farmington – Myrna Elaine Tilton, 73, of Farmington passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024, at Woodland Senior Living of Farmington. She was born on April 27, 1951, in Eastport, Maine; the daughter of James and Eliza Munson (Hayward). She graduated from Shead Memorial High School of Eastport in 1970. She worked at various places in the Bangor area throughout her life but was best known by local elementary students for her years as a school crossing guard in Bangor. She was an avid knitter and could always be found working on something. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and coloring, if you could get the knitting needles out of her hands. Myrna was predeceased by her parents, James and Eliza Munson; her husband, Bruce Tilton; her sister, Nathalie Munson; and brothers, Gary, Daniel, and Loring Munson. She is survived by her son, Jeffery Keniston, and wife, Catherine; her son, Anthony Keniston, and wife, Stacey; her son, John Keniston; her brothers, Reginald, Norris, Richard, and Alvin Munson; as well as several grandchildren and step-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor and remember the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with her family and friends.
