Livermore – Robert L Barker, age 89, passed away on August 11, 2026, at his home in the presence of his Savior, wife and two daughters. Robert was born in Lewiston Maine on April 16, 1937, the son of A.T. and Mary (Scribner) Barker. Bob graduated from Livermore Falls High School, the class of 1956. In 1958, Bob went on to marry the love of his life, Fay Bamford. In 1961 the couple moved to Florida, where Robert worked doing construction and working on orange groves until he entered the New Tribes Mission in 1977. He went to Brazil as a missionary where he faithfully served for 11 years. After coming back to Maine, he did odd jobs until retiring in 2006.

Bob is survived by his wife of 67 years, Fay: his daughters, Deana Barker of Milbridge ME and Debra Webb of Jacksonville FL; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Charlie Barker of Leeds ME and his twin brother, Richard Barker of Exeter NH. He is predeceased by his son, Daniel in 2018; a great granddaughter; his parents, A.T. and Mary Barker; his sister, Betty Morrison; and his brother, Ted Barker.

There will be no funeral services at this time.
