Obituary

Strong - Roger D Corson passed away peacefully on November 1 with family at his side. He was born July 1, 1947, the son of Gerald and Evelyn Corson.

Roger graduated from Phillips High School and worked his entire life in retail sales, including owning his own business, Corson’s Appliance. He always said he sold everything except cars and could sell anything he set his mind to.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy (Cook); children, Marlayne Brace (Rick) and Keith Corson (Tammy); grandchildren, Chris White, Amber Corson (Jon Nagy companion), Katrina Harper (David) and Nathan Brace (Ruchi); and great-grandchildren, Emma Corson and Molly Thurston.

He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Garry.

He greatly enjoyed telling jokes and being the prankster. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and greatly enjoyed camping trips with the “Up Country Gang”. He was a music buff (which he passed onto his children), enjoyed playing in several bands, dancing with his wife and winning music trivia. No services are planned at this time. He wished everyone to have fun for him.

A get together will be planned for spring. In his memory, if anyone wishes, please donate to Gary’s House in Portland where Nancy stayed during his late hospitalization. Contact Gary’s House, 97 State St, Portland, Me, 04101 or 207-535-1320.

Arrangements are made under Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Services, 488 Farmington Falls Rd, Farmington, ME, 04983, where memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.dsfuneral.com
