In loving memory of Ronald Joseph Bouchard, 66, who passed away January 7th, 2024, surrounded by family. Ronald was born December 7th, 1957, the son of the late Henry Bouchard and Patricia (Knefley) Bouchard. Ron was predeceased by his parents and by his sister Deborah. He is survived by his loving wife Karen (Mendalka) Bouchard; siblings Henry Bouchard, Andrew Bouchard, Linda Bouchard and Terry Comb; his daughters Nicole Vetrano and Ashley Minekime; stepsons Andrew LeColst, Greg LeColst, Patrick LeColst and Nicholas LeColst; 15 adoring grandchildren; friend Cliff Fraiser; and faithful dog Brandy. A longtime resident of Middleton, Massachusetts, Ronald is probably best known for his love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and archery. His affinity for his hobbies was shown through the pride and ownership he held for his BackWoods Bait and Tackle Shop in Chesterville, Maine where he relocated to in 2007. Ron put his heart and soul into the shop and into tending to his customers who continue to praise him for his service, kindness and sharing of knowledge. When he wasn't at the shop, Ron loved to be in the company of his grandchildren who adored their Grampy tremendously and will miss him the most, wholeheartedly. While Ron left us too soon, he faced every challenge in life with strength and courage. His memory as a devout husband, father, brother, uncle, Grampy and friend will be treasured in our hearts forever. A celebration of life in Ron's honor will be held at Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton Massachusetts, 10 Village Road, Middleton Massachusetts, on Saturday, February 3rd, from noon to 3PM. Relatives and close friends are invited to attend.
