Obituary

Roy passed away peacefully on July 30th, 2024, at Franklin Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Roy was born the youngest son of Duane & Adelaide Clark Sr. on February 20th, 1972. He graduated from Mt. Blue High School with the class of 1990. After graduation, Roy joined the Military, serving in the United States Air Force from 1991-1997 where he was based in North Dakota. Roy received several certifications while enlisted including Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Specialist & Mechanical Systems Electrical/Controls Troubleshooting. Roy spent most of this career working in the heating & plumbing industry. Roy had a true passion for mechanical work, you could find him in his garage "Clark Mechanical" on most evenings and often into the early morning hours tinkering. In his spare time, Roy enjoyed riding his motorcycle, a Harley Davidson full dresser. Roy was a member of the Farmington Elks Lodge #2430 for 19 years. Roy was predeceased by his parents Skip & Abby Clark of Farmington and his sister Maryanne and brother-in-law Ted Fischer of Chesterville. Roy leaves behind his beloved daughter Haley and her spouse Billy Quinn of North Dakota, in addition to his granddaughter Reagan, and grandsons Mason and Owen Quinn. Brothers: Duane Clark Jr. and wife Donna of Farmington, Mike Clark (Heather) of Lovell. His sister Tammy Brann and spouse Dean of Chesterville. His Sister-in-Law Patty Elyea (Mike) of Farmington. Roy, known as "Uncle," will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his nieces Jadelynn & Brooklynn and his nephew Quinton. Roy also leaves behind his dear friend "Oz" -Chris Osgood as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. An Elk's service will be held on Friday August 30th at 6:30 pm at the Farmington Elks Lodge, a celebration of life will follow downstairs on the lounge for all those who wish to attend Donations in his memory may be made to: The Farmington Elks Lodge # 2430 "Veterans Fund" 120 School Street, West Farmington, ME 04992 Arrangements are under the care of Dan and Scott's Funeral Home 488 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington, ME 04938, where condolences, memories, and photos may be shared with family on the obituary page of the website www.dsfuneral.com.
