Farmington- Shirley (Shirl) Anne Henry, of Farmington, ME passed away on April 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Shirl was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Louise Henry; her father, Richard Nelson Henry; her aunt, Doris Pearl Brooks, who lovingly raised her; and her brother, Richard Nelson Henry Jr. She is survived by her loving significant other, Dennis Norman Menzies; her three children, Michael Jason Kalchik, Steven James Kalchik, and Meghan Grace Kalchik; her siblings, Brenda J. Bracy, Charles (Chuck) R. Henry, Harold L. Henry; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Shirl was a proud and devoted grandmother who loved and adored all her precious grandkids. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in the time she spent with them. Shirl will be remembered for her strength, toughness, and stubborn spirit—qualities that defined her and carried her through life. She loved to sing, dance, and spend time with her family, bringing energy and warmth to those around her. Her presence, laughter, and the memories she created will live on through all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life will be held later in late June or July, with details to be announced. Shirl will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
