Gardiner - Stephen L. Farrell, 73, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024, at Edgewood Rehabilitation and Living Center in Farmington ME. Stephen was born on June 26, 1951, in Gardiner Maine. He grew up with his grandparents, Arthur Farrell and Doris (Williams) Farrell. Stephen worked as an over the road truck driver for Goodwill Industries for several years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Stephen is predeceased by his grandparents, Arthur and Doris Farrell; his wife, Arlene Farrell; and brother, Eugene Farrell. He is survived by his children, Charity Hodgkin (who four days later passed away)and her long-time love, Michael Cushman of Wilton ME, Jeff Lamare and wife Theresa of Auburn ME, Kenneth Johnson and wife Pamela of Salem NH, and Tonja Johnson of Nashua NH; his step daughter, Deborah Chase; his step son, Nichael Lothrop; his grandchildren, Logan Cushman, Peyton Hodgkin, Nicolas Johnson and Savanna Johnson; sisters, Arlene Staple, Linda Duguay, Debrah Hardy, Cindy Hall, and Laurie Farrell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as his great grandchildren;

Stephen will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Augusta Rehab and Edgewood Rehabilitation and Living Center and all their employees for taking good care of Stephen during his time with them.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
