Obituary

Farmington- Tobey Joe Anderson 50, passed away at The Hospice House in Auburn, ME on Sunday November 10, 2024, with family by his side. Tobey was born in Waterville, ME on May 5, 1974, the son of Joseph and Kathy (Chase) Anderson. Tobey graduated from MCI in Pittsfield, ME. Tobey worked for Lifemade in Wilton, ME for the past 10 years. Tobey was floor lead and was in the process of becoming supervisor. Tobey was an avid Denver Broncos fan and followed them for years. Tobey also loved fantasy football playing with the guys from work. It brought Tobey much enjoyment. Tobey bought an RV and loved to go camping, whether it was parked in the driveway at Steve Brady's, his brother-in law's camp on Piper Pond or on adventure with his wife Sandy and the pups. Tobey had 3 dogs and 4 cats. Sophie was definitely his dog. Sophie and Tobey had a special bond which will never be broken. Tobey had just joined a bowling league and liked having time to hang out with the guys even though the gutter quite often got his ball. Sunday afternoon was also NASCAR race day. Tobey had matchbox cars of all the drivers and would set them up on the bookshelf in order of their ranking. After work every night, while eating supper, many hands of cards would be played with Tobey losing most of them but always was a good sport and continued to play with Sandy. Tobey was predeceased by his father, Joseph Anderson; and grandparents, Herbert and Annie Chase. Tobey is survived by his mother, Kathy Anderson; his wife, Sandy Anderson; his children, Dylan, Destiny and Tyler; his sister, Penny Anderson and her companion Ron; his brother, Clifford Anderson and wife Tori; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and 3 Godchildren.
