Obituary

Wilton - Wallace Guy Enman, "Wally to friends and Butchie/Jr to family", 84, passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2024, at Franklin Memorial Hospital. Wally was born January 24, 1940, to Guy and Maxine Enman of Strong, Maine. Wally graduated from Strong High School in 1958. He proudly served in the US Army from Sept 1958 util Oct 1961. He worked for K&H Foster, Diaz Construction, Daniels Construction, and ended his working career at UMF in the facility management department as their carpenter. Wally was a carpenter by nature and a craftsman by heart. For several years, loved entering his woodworking crafts into the Farmington Fair. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed listening to the local HS football and basketball games on the radio. He especially enjoyed watching the NE Patriots, probably not so much this year, the Boston Celtics and the Boston Red Sox. Wally will be remembered for being a very inquisitive man, always asking anyone he met: "what's your name, where do you live, where did you grow up, who are parents and grandparents and where do they live". Questioning people was his way of making a connection with everyone he encountered. Not only did he love a good conversation but was always ready for a good debate, whether he was right or wrong, he could go on forever. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, reminiscing and telling stories of the years gone by. He will forever be missed. Wally is survived by his brother, Danny Enman and his wife Darlene, his daughter, Terri Beisaw of Jay; his grandson, Joseph Beisaw, of New Sharon; granddaughter, Jaclyn Beisaw Pelletier of Chesterville; two great grandchildren, Lyla Beaulieu and Elliott Rodriguez of Chesterville; daughter, Shanna E, Russell and her husband Nathan of Wayne; granddaughter, Delaney Russell of Wayne; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Wally was predeceased by his parents, Guy and Maxine Enman; his sister, Gail Penney; and grandson, Ethan Russell. There will be a small gathering of family and friends at his home on January 4, 2025, at 1:00pm, to celebrate his amazing life. Arrangements are under the care of Dan and Scott's Cremation and Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, Maine, where memories, photos and condolences may be shared at dsfuneral.com.
