Obituary

Livermore – Wanda M. Young, 65, of Livermore passed away July 18 after a short illness, with her love Richard of 25 plus years and two dear friends by her side. She was born in Farmington, Maine on December 22, 1960.

She was the daughter of Roger and Lorraine (Lizzotti) Safford from Livermore, Maine. She was a GED graduate of Livermore Falls, Maine in 1979. Throughout the years, Wanda worked at several places including TD North Bank, the beach in Turner, Pinnacle Health and Rehab in Canton, Town of Livermore, Hannaford, Food City, and Mardens in Rumford.

She enjoyed cooking, was an extremely talented quilter and seamstress, loved going to camp with Richard and their faithful dog Bailey, and bowling in her earlier years.

She is survived by the lover of her life, Richard Crocker of Livermore, her daughter Tori Young of Skowhegan, sons Carl Young and wife Inna and their two children of Monmouth, Brian Young and wife April and their two children of Bowdoin, and sister Kelly-Jo LeVasseur and husband Daniel of Livermore.

She was predeceased by her parents and sister Sara Jean Tyler.

A graveside service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Livermore, Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 10:00AM.
