Skowhegan- Warren F. Harnden born April 11, 1950 in Farmington Maine, first born to the late Rodney and Emma (Wilbur) Harnden, passed away Sunday February 15, 2026 at Reddington Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan Maine, where he received exceptional care.
He graduated in 1968 in Phillips Maine. He worked as truck driver hauling wood and was a Constable of Strong Maine for years. He then went on to the police academy to do the job he loved most, being a police officer. He served the towns of Jay, Franklin County, and then lived and served in the town of Rangeley, until he became disabled and had to give up his job. He touched the lives of so many people, and you all know who you are.
He loved playing cards, bingo, and going hunting and fishing, but mostly, he cherished all the family time he could get.
Warren was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, and son-in-law. He is survived by his two daughters and their spouses, Kim (Dana) Wyman and Kathy (Todd) Hargreaves. Also, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt. He is also survived by his three siblings and their spouses, Daniel (Terry) Harnden, Susan (Arno "Duck"), White and Michael Harnden.
Warren has been residing at Cedar Ridge Nursing Facility for the last four years. He made so many new friends with the residents and staff. We can't thank them enough for the care they provided.
