Livermore Falls - Wesley A. Philbrick Jr. age 78, passed May 19th, 2026, with family and friends by his side.

Born in Dover, New Hampshire on October 18, 1947, the son of June Philbrick (Thibedau), and Wesley A. Philbrick Sr. He was a proud executive chef for the United States Army in the Vietnam War, where he served in Vietnam from June 1968-June 1969, and then, Germany from March 1970- Jan 1971.

Wes was an avid hunter, rifle or bow, he was known for his straight shot. Fishing was another pastime when he was able to squeeze it in around his prideful career as a professional painter/contractor. He was the most caring human and welcomed everyone “until they give me an excuse not to” as he would say.

He was predeceased in death by Wesley A. Philbrick (father); June A. Philbrick (mother); Austin W. Philbrick (son); Alfred “Bimbo” Philbrick (brother); and John Philbrick (brother).

Wesley is survived by his wife, Lucretia Philbrick; and children: Matt Haley, Patricia Breton, Wesley Philbrick III, Michael Philbrick, Heather Bragg; five beautiful grandchildren; three stepchildren: Joshua, Jason, and Ashley; his sister-in-law, Judy Philbrick; his best friends whom he considered his brothers, Joe Curtis and David Whitehouse.

A celebration of life, in Wesley’s honor, will be held at the family home, 53 Park Street Livermore Falls Maine, Saturday August 5, 2026. Please call the family for details on the time.
