William Joseph Parker, also known as "Billy" to his family and "Parker" to his friends, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1978 in Strong. He grew up in the Madrid, Phillips, & Avon area and graduated from Mt. Abram High School in Salem. He was a current resident of Wilton.
As a kid, he spent many summer days playing wiffleball, basketball, having green apple fights, and playing hide and go seek outside around the house and barn and in the woods. He had fun playing board games like Monopoly with his siblings. Billy also enjoyed drawing and was very good at it. He was often complimented on his drawings and his beautiful penmanship.
As an adult, he enjoyed an eclectic genre of music from Johnny Cash to Pink Floyd. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always down for a good party. He loved to play cards and other games. He will be remembered by many for his eccentric clothing style, his love of the color purple, his kindness and generosity.
In the last few months of his life, he was setting goals and crushing them. He was most proud of getting his driver's license and purchasing "Betty White."
